About This Role
- Develop and maintain backend services focused on extracting property attributes using techniques like regular expressions and large language models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver solutions within a microservices and cloud infrastructure environment.
- Follow established engineering practices and complete well-defined tasks with effective communication of progress and status.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or four years of equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in SQL (preferably PostgreSQL) and production JVM languages, preferably Scala.
- Must reside within 150 km of Greater Delhi NCR, Greater Bangalore, or Greater Pune with availability for 4 core US overlap hours (7:30pm–11:30pm IST).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in Property & Casualty technology or exposure to property inspections, real estate assessments, or home condition reporting domain.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), event-driven systems (Kafka), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and data science concepts like data labeling or information extraction.
- Proven experience working directly with US-based business teams and excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
