About This Role
- Own control software validation and project-specific software creation for Solar & Battery Energy Storage System projects, including FAT, SAT, HIL, and commissioning support.
- Manage control deliverables tracking and ensure on-time, quality delivery by collaborating closely with project managers, internal teams, and customers.
- Design and deploy control hardware configuration and communication networks; develop documentation and training materials for installation, commissioning, and operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Controls Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in developing and implementing control software.
- Experience with Solar, Battery Energy Storage, and power generation industry controls including GE’s MarkVIe product and relevant tools is preferable.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, EGD, Profibus, CAN bus, IEC 61850/104), PLC, DCS, SCADA, SQL, Matlab Simulink, multiple country grid codes compliance (Australia, UK, USA, Europe, India), and AS/NZS safety standards.

- Experienced in control systems integration and validation in renewable energy or related power generation sectors, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Capable of managing complex technical communications with customers and internal stakeholders, particularly in engineering and project management contexts.
- Able to lead and mentor teams while managing multidimensional projects across culturally diverse, matrixed organizations.
