About This Role
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs primarily using Node.js.
- Own backend projects end-to-end including development, deployment, debugging, and production issue resolution.
- Contribute to system architecture, technical design decisions, and gradually support Ruby on Rails services as required.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–7 years of backend software development experience, strong hands-on with Node.js (exceptional 2 years experience candidates considered).
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript with experience in production-grade backend service development.
- Experience working with databases, asynchronous programming, event-driven systems, and REST APIs.
- Work Experience Required: 3–7 years backend development with Node.js; Ruby on Rails experience not mandatory but willingness to learn is required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong individual contributor with solid engineering fundamentals, practical system design, and ability to take ownership with minimal guidance.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools in coding, debugging, testing, and code review to improve productivity.
- Comfortable working across multiple technologies and gradually learning Ruby on Rails in a cloud environment (preferably AWS).
