About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain on-device and off-device Android applications powering Verifone payment solutions.
- Develop proofs-of-concept and demos to showcase product offerings and integrations.
- Debug, analyze, and resolve customer-reported issues; contribute to performance optimization, test automation, and CI/CD improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years experience in Android or embedded/mobile software development.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin for Android app development.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- Work Experience Required: 6+ years in relevant Android/mobile software development.

- Experienced in complex Android application architecture, lifecycle management, and performance optimization.
- Able to independently take ownership and deliver in a fast-paced, collaborative environment involving cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in debugging complex device, OS, and network issues and familiar with backend integrations (RESTful APIs) and containerized environments.
