About This Role
- Develop and maintain invoicing and billing software products using Java, Spring Boot Microservices, deployed on Google Cloud Platform with PostgreSQL.
- Integrate AI-assisted software engineering tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and automate workflows while ensuring secure and maintainable code.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, mentor junior engineers, and deliver high-quality, tested software products with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years professional software development experience using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Minimum 2+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven experience applying AI-assisted software engineering practices for code generation, code review, and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Tekton, Cloud Build, Gradle, Kubernetes) plus experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in secure coding, software design, and able to critically evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Comfortable working in small agile teams using Domain Driven Design, CQRS, Hexagonal and Event Driven Architecture.
- Strong collaborator who can work closely with product owners and designers, and able to mentor less-experienced peers on technical and leadership skills.
