Common GL/operations role in a metro city with moderate brand recognition increases applicant competition.
Core GL and intercompany accounting skills transfer across industries, though insurance experience is preferred.

Support month-end ledger closings for multiple legal entities including intercompany postings, payroll, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
Ensure timely posting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances within the group.
Assist in production of monthly financial statements, year-end audit processes, VAT/ONS filings, corporate tax filings, compliance reporting, and respond to ad hoc information requests.
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) preferably within the insurance industry.
Experience with month-end closing procedures and balancing multiple ledgers in a timely manner.
Experience addressing external and internal audit queries.
Bachelor's degree (B Com or equivalent).
Experience working with UK financial accounting standards and group consolidation processes involving multiple legal entities.
Comfortable supporting both routine financial operations and compliance reporting requirements.
Able to coordinate with onshore/offshore teams and external advisors effectively.
