About This Role
- Own end-to-end delivery of customer-funded software projects within the Funded Development POD, managing multiple concurrent engagements with focus on on-time, quality delivery.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, reviewing and authoring design and code in modern C++ across core components like Order Routing, Market Data, Risk, FIX services, and trading UI.
- Lead and grow a cross-functional team of Software Engineers and Software Quality Engineers, fostering engineering best practices and AI-assisted development adoption for productivity gains.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 to 12 years of software engineering experience with 2+ years managing a mid-sized engineering team including line management.
- Expert proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 to C++20) with deep knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
- Experience delivering software in electronic trading, capital markets, or other low-latency, mission-critical systems with knowledge of order lifecycle, exchange gateways, FIX/exchange protocols, market data, and risk.

- Has strong technical depth combined with leadership ability to manage engineering delivery and complex client commitments in an Agile environment.
- Experienced in cross-component system delivery in trading technology, able to balance deep domain expertise with team flexibility.
- Practiced in integrating AI developer tools responsibly with focus on quality, security, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
