About This Role
- Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL-based payment processing applications on IBM Mainframe (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, resiliency, maintainability, and operational excellence.
- Leverage AI-powered engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and automation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience, specifically with COBOL, JCL, DB2 on IBM Mainframe.
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing systems.
- Must be authorized to work full-time in India; no visa sponsorship offered.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong background in mainframe payment systems supporting card networks (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, etc.).
- Experienced in applying AI tools effectively within software development workflows.
- Comfortable working in Agile teams and collaborating cross-functionally in a global engineering environment.
