About This Role
- Lead and manage a data engineering team offshore (Vietnam, India) responsible for developing and operationalizing scalable data pipelines and models for reports and advanced analytics.
- Act as the primary liaison between the customer and offshore team to translate requirements, present solutions, gather feedback, and ensure delivery quality exceeds expectations.
- Design, build, optimize, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, validation, pipeline orchestration, and work closely with Data Architects, Scientists, BI engineers, and DevOps during CI/CD integration.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years experience in engineering and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets.
- 5+ years hands-on experience with DBT and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- 4+ years experience with Google Cloud technologies (Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Data Fusion, BigQuery, Cloud SQL) and advanced SQL skills.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years relevant in data engineering and cloud data pipeline development.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience leading small technical teams offshore and interfacing directly with customers on technical design and delivery.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and optimized data storage solutions (data lakes, relational, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud-native Google data services and advanced toolsets such as Apache Beam, Git/Azure DevOps, alongside certifications (Google Data Cloud certifications preferred).
