Serve as final technical authority on complex Unix/identity/infrastructure issues after initial troubleshooting fails.
Minimum Requirements
5–8+ years Linux systems engineering experience with ownership of production Linux fleets.
Hands-on experience with AWS WorkSpaces or equivalent Linux VDI environments, including directory integration and region rollouts.
Strong production experience with Ansible playbooks and roles, including staged rollouts and peer-reviewed CI workflows.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent hands-on experience accepted.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in deep Unix/Linux internals: systemd, PAM, Kerberos, SSH, strace, journalctl for root-cause diagnostics.
Familiarity with Linux package management at scale across multiple distros and macOS/WSL environments.
Comfortable troubleshooting cross-domain identity issues merging AWS IAM, Kerberos, and Active Directory concepts under pressure.
