High — explicit 5–8 years, mandatory Linux fleet, Ansible, and AWS WorkSpaces expertise.
Own architecture and maintenance of Linux compute platform including AWS WorkSpaces, WSL, and Linux fleet used by thousands of engineers.
Define and enforce Ansible automation standards for configuration, patching, and lifecycle management via peer-reviewed workflows.
Serve as final technical authority on complex Unix/identity/infrastructure issues after initial troubleshooting fails.
5–8+ years Linux systems engineering experience with ownership of production Linux fleets.
Hands-on experience with AWS WorkSpaces or equivalent Linux VDI environments, including directory integration and region rollouts.
Strong production experience with Ansible playbooks and roles, including staged rollouts and peer-reviewed CI workflows.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent hands-on experience accepted.
Experienced in deep Unix/Linux internals: systemd, PAM, Kerberos, SSH, strace, journalctl for root-cause diagnostics.
Familiarity with Linux package management at scale across multiple distros and macOS/WSL environments.
Comfortable troubleshooting cross-domain identity issues merging AWS IAM, Kerberos, and Active Directory concepts under pressure.
