About This Role
- Own architecture, design, and development of HighLevel’s Agency Module, Platform Billing, and Onboarding systems impacting 100K+ agencies.
- Build scalable backend services, APIs, and modern frontend experiences with focus on reliability, security, and performance across full stack.
- Collaborate on technical decisions, contribute to software development lifecycle, and maintain production readiness including observability and on-call support.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years software engineering experience building scalable backend and high-performance frontend applications.
- Strong skills in Node.js, TypeScript, API development, data modeling; experience with NestJS preferred.
- Experience with MongoDB, Redis, event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub), RESTful API design, microservices, and frontend frameworks like Vue.js (preferred), React, or Angular.
- Exposure to AI/LLM application integration and AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot; experience with observability tools and Agile SDLC practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced full-stack engineer capable of leading end-to-end feature development and technical architecture for complex distributed systems.
- Comfortable working in an AI-first, microservices environment with a strong focus on scalable backend services and modern frontend frameworks.
- Able to collaborate cross-functionally, make technical tradeoffs, mentor team members, and independently deliver high-quality software solutions at scale.
