Senior Staff Software Engineer - Golang (Consumer Team),Hyderabad

Design, build, and operate multiple high-performance, scalable global platform systems in production and non-production environments.

Drive technical vision, strategy, and best practices across multiple teams including engineering excellence, operational excellence, and security, impacting organizational and domain-level strategies.

Lead technical design and architectural changes, troubleshoot complex production issues, mentor engineers, and manage operational activities including incident response and on-call duties.

13–16+ years of total software development experience with strong computer science fundamentals.

Deep hands-on experience in Golang and proficiency in additional programming languages.

Strong understanding and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (preferred), microservice architectures, messaging services, API gateways, service mesh, and infrastructure-as-code.

Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, CloudWatch, Kibana), persistence and caching solutions (PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch), and operational experience including on-call and incident response.

Experienced in building and operating global-scale platform services influencing multi-quarter planning and cross-team technical vision.

Capable of balancing trade-offs between immediate business needs and long-term strategic initiatives, with strong judgment in architectural decisions.

Effective in collaborating with global distributed teams, driving consensus, simplifying complex concepts, and guiding engineers through mentorship across seniority levels.
