About This Role
- Analyze quarterly financial statements of private equity partnership investments and record/reconcile transactions in the investment accounting system.
- Oversee review and delivery of financial statements and accounting reports ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS and timely completion.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance team efficiency and support senior leadership in accounting review standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Basic understanding of Hedge Funds / Private Equity funds including booking valuations and reconciling cash flows.
- Pursuing or completed Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Finance.
- Maximum of 18 months of experience in operations within the financial services industry.
- Work Experience Required: Maximum 18 months of relevant experience in financial services operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Capable of leading a medium-sized team with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and operational efficiency in investment accounting.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally, especially with fund accounting and client service teams.
- Experienced with using financial software tools and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a continuous improvement mindset focussed on risk identification and cost efficiencies.
