About This Role
- Lead the sourcing strategy and category management for Forgings and Castings, along with related machining and hardware supplier base in India.
- Drive supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and capacity building to achieve cost, quality, capacity, and timeline objectives.
- Manage annual cost negotiations, material cost drivers, and budget planning related to material cost, capex, and revenue.
Minimum Requirements
- 15–20 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or commodity management in Automotive, Off-highway, or Industrial sectors.
- Strong hands-on experience with forging, casting, foundry, machining, and hardware suppliers including process capability, capacity planning, tooling, quality systems, and cost structures.
- Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering (Regular).
- Work Experience Required: 15-20 years explicitly mentioned.
