About This Role
- Own and develop features across the entire Android application stack including Input, Networking, Video Rendering, UI, and App Packaging.
- Define and implement performance benchmarking, profiling, and tuning across networking, CPU, GPU, and input leveraging Android tooling and AOSP internals.
- Lead feature delivery end-to-end, including technical design, scoping, tracking milestones, managing dependencies, and coordinating cross-team collaboration.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of systems software development experience with deep knowledge of Android application core concepts (Activity, Fragment, Service, JNI).
- Proficiency in Java and C/C++ with experience in graphics rendering and video playback pipelines on Android (MediaCodec, EGL, Vulkan).
- Experience using Android profiling/debugging tools (Dumpsys, Traceview, GPU inspector) and familiarity with Android build systems (Gradle, Jenkins, AAB).

- Experienced Android systems engineer with expertise in optimizing low-latency streaming and video performance across diverse hardware and OS environments.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage full project lifecycles and coordinate cross-functional teams for feature delivery.
- Familiarity with video streaming technologies (e.g., RTSP, WebRTC), multimedia AOSP contributions, and advanced visualization and project management tools.
