About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Selenium WebDriver in Java, implementing Page Object Model and BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Perform manual and automated testing including functional, integration, regression, API, and database validation using SQL to ensure product quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and provide test progress and defect status reporting to stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and strong programming skills in an object-oriented language such as Java.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing scalable, reusable automation frameworks including TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber BDD.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in an agile environment with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Comfortable with manual and exploratory testing alongside automation, and familiar with version control systems like Git.
