About This Role
- Own and manage end-to-end technical responsibility for a business domain’s data platform including architecture, production delivery, monitoring, and operation.
- Develop reliable, production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines, backend APIs, and data services using Python, SQL, and modern software engineering practices.
- Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform, and contribute reusable tools to Wrisk’s shared data platform.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of software/data engineering experience with proven production system delivery and operation.
- Strong expertise in Python programming and advanced SQL skills including database design, data modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud-native solutions and infrastructure management using Terraform as Infrastructure as Code.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years

- Experienced data engineer comfortable with high-ambiguity objectives, capable of making pragmatic trade-offs and autonomous technical decisions.
