About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin, owning feature development from architecture to release.
- Write robust unit, UI, and integration tests to ensure platform stability and adhere to modern Android architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Jetpack).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, QA, backend) in Agile environments to translate product requirements into intuitive Android user experiences.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of overall software product development experience.
- At least 3 years of native Android development experience in Kotlin with enterprise cloud or SaaS backend integration.
- Experience publishing and supporting production apps on Google Play Store; hands-on knowledge of Android lifecycle tools (Git, Gradle, CI/CD, Google Play Console).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in modern Kotlin paradigms (e.g., Coroutines, Flow) and Android Jetpack Compose for UI design.
- Demonstrated ability to develop modular, reusable Android SDKs or libraries and familiarity with maintaining legacy Java Android codebases.
- Strategic collaborator comfortable working in Agile teams with Product, UX, QA, and backend engineers to deliver polished, user-focused Android solutions.
