About This Role
- Develop and execute detailed test cases and validation procedures for embedded and application-level software in UAV and aerospace systems.
- Perform various testing types including functional, integration, system, regression, performance, Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing to ensure software reliability and compliance with requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and track software defects and support software release validation and UAV flight-test activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Software Testing, Embedded Software Testing, System Testing, or Verification & Validation.
- Working knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language among Python, C/C++, or Shell scripting.
- Experience or exposure to UAVs, drones, robotics, embedded systems, avionics, or aerospace systems preferred but not strictly required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex software testing environments involving embedded systems and UAV/aerospace technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to debug software and system-level issues involving hardware-software interactions.
- Detail-oriented with good documentation skills and familiarity with software development and testing life cycles, including traceability and verification & validation processes.
