About This Role
- Lead end-to-end design and implementation of native iOS applications and developer-facing iOS SDKs with a focus on architecture, API design, and scalable integration.
- Write and maintain clean, modular Swift code with robust public APIs and conduct code reviews to enforce quality, testing, modularity, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and enterprise partners to align mobile features with backend systems, mentor engineers, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 10 years of professional software engineering experience in cloud, SaaS, or enterprise software environments.
- At least 5 years of experience building production native iOS applications and iOS SDKs backed by cloud APIs.
- Minimum 3 years of deep hands-on Swift development experience, with working knowledge of Objective-C.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing clean, maintainable SDK APIs and modular architectures, including managing library distribution tools like Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and mentor engineers within cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with advanced iOS frameworks, Swift concurrency, security protocols (OAuth, SSO, encryption), and binary framework packaging (XCFrameworks) is advantageous.
