Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Own end-to-end design problems from framing to shipping, including prototyping, testing, and collaborating with engineering with minimal oversight.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to shape development priorities and push back on misaligned requirements.
- Design across both web and mobile platforms for event attendee experiences and organizer-facing data-heavy workflows, while improving team tooling and contributing to the design system.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of product design experience, with at least 2 years on B2B products.
- Proven ability to design complex UX involving multi-step workflows, data-dense interfaces, and edge cases.
- Experience shipping designs for both web and mobile platforms, including familiarity with iOS/Android patterns and responsive design.
- Fluency incorporating AI into daily design workflows; prototyping in code (HTML/CSS/React) is a plus but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong product judgment with ability to balance user needs, business goals, and engineering effort, and challenge briefs that solve the wrong problem.
- Operates effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments without compromising quality or speed.
- Experienced with building interactive prototypes and advocating for design decisions to cross-functional stakeholders outside of design.
