About This Role
- Lead software verification, validation, certification, and compliance activities for safety-critical embedded software programs following DO-178C standards.
- Design, build, and maintain embedded software, refactor legacy code for cloud and mobile app integration, and ensure compliance through certification evidence and documentation.
- Collaborate with global teams, conduct audits, perform root cause analyses, and mentor junior engineers in certification processes.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, verification, validation, or safety certification.
- Strong expertise in DO-178C certification, compliance, verification & validation, requirements traceability, and audit support.
- Hands-on experience with embedded software development including C/Embedded C, BSPs, device drivers, and knowledge of tools like LDRA, Polarion, DOORS, Git, Jira, Linux, and Python.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading safety-critical software certification programs and managing global or distributed engineering teams.
- Fluent in embedded software development lifecycle, with strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Familiar with multiple safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262, IEC 50128) and capable of driving continuous process improvements in certification environments.
