About This Role
- Manage and provide subject matter expertise for revenue accounting activities including revenue recognition under US GAAP, revenue accruals, revenue adjustments, accounts receivable, and SOX controls.
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of accounting professionals to deliver accurate financial reporting, account reconciliations, and compliance with regulatory requirements across global geographies.
- Drive process re-engineering, standardization, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and control within the revenue accounting function.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Accounting, Chartered Accountant (CA), or CPA/MBA-Finance with 12-14 years of advanced Record-to-Report (R2R) experience in large financial institutions.
- Extensive practical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, including experience with SOX controls and risk management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in day-to-day accounting operations, month-end and quarter-end close activities in multiple geographies.
- Skills in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel), knowledge of Oracle Financials, Hyperion Essbase; experience with data analytics tools (Spotfire, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, PowerBI) is a plus.

- Experienced leader used to managing global teams supporting complex revenue accounting and financial reporting across multiple international geographies including NA, EMEA, and APAC.
- Strong operator capable of balancing BAU deliverables with process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives for large-scale R2R processes.
- Comfortable working independently with multiple stakeholders including legal entity and geography controllers, demonstrating senior-level communication and decision-making skills.
