About This Role
- Lead design, development, testing, deploying, and maintenance of backend features for Prisma Cloud and Cortex Cloud platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams to shape backend solutions and integrate with other product components.
- Drive technical and architectural decisions; own production issue mitigation and resolution to ensure operational stability.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience including scalable server-side application development.
- Proficient in Go, Java, and/or Python with strong computer science fundamentals (e.g., lock-free data structures, consistent hashing).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), microservices (Kubernetes, Docker), distributed computing/databases, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader capable of guiding and growing backend development teams for large-scale cloud security products.
- Strong domain expertise in cloud security platforms and distributed systems in a multi-geo collaboration environment.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, production-critical environments with agile methodologies and continuous integration/deployment practices.
