About This Role
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software components and tools supporting product security programmes.
- Implement secure software development lifecycle practices including threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, and integration of security requirements into product designs.
- Develop automation and DevSecOps solutions to improve security, compliance, and engineering productivity, including integration of security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of software development experience.
- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC), common software vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10), threat modeling, and security risk assessments.
- Experience with one or more modern programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python, Go, or TypeScript.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working in Agile development environments collaborating with distributed teams integrating security into product development.
- Background in product security or DevSecOps involving cloud-native, web, desktop or distributed application development and automation.
- Familiarity with modern development tools and practices including Git, CI/CD pipelines, cloud architectures, and responsible use of AI-assisted software development tools.
