About This Role
- Coordinate international US import shipments via carriers like UPS and FedEx during night shifts, ensuring timely execution and resolution of delays or customs holds.
- Review and process all customs and shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, HTS classifications, and compliance paperwork.
- Collaborate with carriers, customs brokers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to track shipments, manage escalations, and maintain operational reporting and Quality Management System (QMS) contributions.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-3+ years of experience in international logistics, courier operations, or import/export coordination.
- Ability to work US night shift hours to support global logistics operations.
- Basic understanding of US customs clearance processes and import/export documentation compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Commerce, Foreign Trade, Customs Administration, or related field preferred (not strictly mandatory).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Has hands-on experience managing international air and ocean import shipments with strong problem-solving in customs clearance and shipment escalations.
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple shipment priorities in a fast-paced night shift logistics environment with attention to detail in documentation and operational tracking.
- Skilled in cross-functional coordination and using Excel, Google Sheets, and logistics tracking/reporting tools to improve shipment visibility and cost efficiency.
