About This Role
- Lead and mentor 3–5 Engineering Team Leads, focusing on their teams' performance, growth, and career development.
- Own cluster-level planning, prioritization, capacity allocation, and delivery across multiple engineering teams, managing cross-team dependencies and escalations.
- Drive engineering standards and operational excellence including code quality, testing, incident management, reliability, and track key engineering metrics.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years in software engineering with at least 3 years in people management.
- Experience managing Team Leads, Tech Leads, or senior engineers.
- Proven experience in cross-team planning, prioritization, resource management, and delivery.
- Capability to manage technical, customer, and business escalations effectively.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced engineering leader with strong cross-team coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical depth sufficient to evaluate trade-offs and enforce consistent engineering standards.
- Background in managing distributed or multi-location teams and familiarity with B2B SaaS or related high-availability domains is advantageous.
