About This Role
- Lead front-end software development teams through full Agile lifecycle, focusing on building and maintaining large-scale web applications serving over 60 million customers.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams on AI-assisted development workflows and advanced JavaScript coding practices, ensuring code quality including AI-generated code.
- Drive adoption and compliance of AI coding tools and practices within a regulated financial services environment, including on-call support and system performance improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5+ years full stack development experience focused on JavaScript (React JS preferred) or 7 years experience without degree.
- Hands-on experience using at least one AI coding assistant (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) in regular development.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Redux, Styled-Components, and testing frameworks like RTL or Cypress.
- Work Timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST with availability for US Eastern Time meetings between 06:00 AM – 11:30 AM ET.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven tech lead or senior individual contributor with experience in coaching and mentoring software development teams in AI-assisted front-end engineering.
- Strong understanding of AI-native concepts and open-source AI tooling aligned with financial services compliance requirements.
- Comfortable working in large, collaborative, regulated FinTech environments focusing on user experience and system reliability at scale.
