About This Role
- Lead design, development, and integration of large-scale, high-performance applications with adherence to architecture standards.
- Analyze complex business and system processes to resolve high-impact problems and define system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
- Coach and allocate work to mid-level developers while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and firm policies to safeguard Citigroup and its clients.
Minimum Requirements
- 10-15 years experience in applications development or systems analysis.
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE backend development including multithreading, Web technologies (HTML, CSS, React JS), REST/SOAP API and web services development.
- Experience with relational (MSSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL databases and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Master’s degree preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting scalable, high availability solutions with strong fundamentals in OOPS, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills with the ability to handle complex integrations and multi-technology stacks.
- Hands-on expertise with testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, Jasmine/Mocha), CI/CD tools, and preferably Apache Kafka or high-speed messaging platforms.
