About This Role
- Design, build, and operate internal data platform infrastructure and services, including distributed workflow systems on Temporal and Airflow, supporting company-wide data operations.
- Develop and maintain internal Python libraries and config-driven platform applications enabling teams to author and run ingestion and transformation jobs.
- Own administration, governance, reliability, and cost optimization of core data infrastructure components such as Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Airflow, and Kafka.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go or Python.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, data governance, and SQL data modeling.
- Experience designing, operating, and maintaining backend systems or platform applications in production environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and operating distributed workflow-based data systems and internal developer platforms.
- Strong expertise with modern data stack components like Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, Kafka, and workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal.
- Ability to own end-to-end production systems including design, deployment, monitoring, cost governance, and incident response.
