About This Role
- Design, build, and scale backend systems and frontend interfaces for the Threads & Composer experience within HighLevel Conversations.
- Own Node.js / Go microservices and Vue 3 UI components end-to-end, including code, tests, rollout, monitoring, and on-call support.
- Work on high-throughput, low-latency message processing paths handling billions of messages monthly, ensuring reliability and correctness at scale.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of backend engineering experience with Node.js, Go, or a comparable language.
- Hands-on experience with queues or async processing systems like Pub/Sub, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Redis or other in-memory cache stores and SQL or NoSQL databases (data modeling, efficient querying, indexing).
- Proficient in Vue 3 or a similar frontend framework with state management experience (e.g., Pinia, Vuex).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Engineer driven to deeply understand distributed systems concepts (idempotency, retries, consistency trade-offs) and wants to master related challenges by building.
- Experience owning production codepaths and responsible for on-call incident resolution with strong debugging and fix deployment skills.
- Proficiency and daily usage of AI tools in development, especially coding agents to produce accurate, production-quality output.
