About This Role
- Own technical deliveries including requirement analysis, software design, estimation, programming, code reviews, and release processes.
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA with expertise in data lake technologies (Spark, Big Data) and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
- Apply Agile and Continuous Delivery practices such as Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), CI/CD using tools like Git and Jenkins, and potentially mentor or lead team members on technical topics.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of experience including at least 1 year in design principles, development, and code review.
- Strong Java stack experience: Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA.
- Experience with data lake technologies (Spark, Big Data), Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, cloud platforms (preferably Azure), REST services, and SQL/PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, test driven development (unit testing, mocking, BDD), CI/CD practices, and OOA/OOD with J2EE design patterns.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in banking or investment banking domain preferred for better domain alignment.
- Ability to plan, prioritize work, and allocate tasks effectively with possible prior experience leading or guiding technical teams.
- Hands-on with Agile principles and continuous delivery practices, comfortable solving technical and functional challenges integrating cloud and big data technologies.
