About This Role
- Own end-to-end trade execution processes for export-import of commodities including contract management, shipment planning, execution, and finalization.
- Coordinate documentation, shipping lines, customs, government bodies, operations, customer service, and quality management for export/import via seaports globally.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities, manage operational risks, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient trade operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in any field; preference for Internal Business or Export/Import Documentation.
- 6-8 years of experience in supply chain, shipping, and documentation.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficient with analytical tools and MS Office (including PowerBI).
- Work Experience Required: 6-8 years in supply chain, shipping, and documentation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing export-import operations with a focus on efficiency, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Knowledge of border trade execution and regulations, preferably including Nepal/Bangladesh and Indian import/export laws.
- Familiarity with vessel handling, grain/agri commodity handling, and cost/warehouse management, indicating depth in agri-trading environments.
