About This Role
- Define engineering strategy for greenfield development foundational to future initiatives in Payments Technology - Data.
- Design and implement BIAN APIs and lead high-performing teams across API, backend, data, and cloud engineering.
- Drive robust, supportable solution architectures, collaborate cross-functionally for integrated end-to-end outcomes, and lead continuous improvements of core product systems.
Minimum Requirements
- 14-16 years experience with Java/J2EE and scripting languages (TypeScript/JavaScript/Python).
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, EKS, IAM, Elastic Beanstalk, Fargate, VPC, and associated networking components.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Github, Github Actions, SonarQube, TeamCity/Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, CloudWatch).
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader comfortable guiding design and architectural decisions in agile environments.
- Strong knowledge of application architecture, software best practices, and object-oriented design, with ability to debug complex multi-component systems.
- Able to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders including architecture teams, business leaders, and engineers to deliver aligned, scalable payment solutions.
