About This Role
- Own quality delivery for financial reporting and BI features within a scrum team, ensuring thorough test coverage from requirements through release.
- Write and execute complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries to validate data accuracy, report output fidelity, query performance, and security scenarios.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites focused on SQL-based data validation and API testing, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and leverage AI tools to augment testing.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of software quality engineering experience in enterprise SaaS environments.
- Proficient in writing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL to validate data accuracy; experience with Oracle strongly preferred.
- Experience with reporting or BI systems testing, focusing on data correctness and report output accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced embedded QA engineer working closely within agile scrum teams on data-centric reporting/BI platforms for regulated domains, preferably financial services.
- Strong expertise in SQL-based data validation, performance tuning, and security testing with demonstrated ownership of defect resolution end-to-end.
- Comfortable working on global distributed teams, proficient in automation frameworks (.NET/NUnit/xUnit), and leveraging AI tools to enhance QA processes.
