About This Role
- Lead end-to-end project execution including RFCs, design documentation, and technical plans for backend development.
- Design, build, and maintain highly concurrent, low-latency backend systems processing massive transactions using Ruby on Rails and Go.
- Mentor junior engineers, optimize database and caching layers, drive technical decisions, and improve system scalability and reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 8+ years of professional software development experience in fast-paced startups or high-scale tech companies.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and Go (Golang) focusing on high-performance APIs and concurrent systems.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, CAP theorem, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, and gRPC.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
