About This Role
- Lead and manage a high-performing team responsible for delivering change across Finance related to Non-Financial Risk (NFR) policies, procedures, and Helios platform.
- Act as Finance’s key interface with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), translating requirements into actions, coordinating rollout and adoption across Finance, and supporting first line of defense (1LOD) teams with interpretation, implementation planning, and training.
- Own Finance’s Strategic Execution Risk activities including root-cause analysis, governance updates, thematic risk management, leading deep-dives into issues, managing New Product Due Diligence (NPDD), and driving transformation and automation initiatives to reduce manual effort.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in Finance Risk & Controls within a large financial services organization, including root cause analysis ownership, SOX compliance, issues/actions management, and senior governance reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of Accounting, Reconciliations, and Financial/Regulatory/Treasury Reporting with practical understanding of end-to-end finance control points.
- Experience implementing and embedding policy, procedure or control framework changes across Finance, including adoption tracking and audit-ready evidence.
- Working knowledge of Helios (or equivalent GRC platform) and experience in automation/management information simplification initiatives.

- Strategic operator skilled at interfacing between Finance and ERM, with a focus on policy implementation, governance, and embedding change into business-as-usual processes.
- Proven ability to drive transformation through root cause analysis, automation, and capacity creation specifically in Finance Non-Financial Risk context.
