About This Role
- Own and operate high-throughput audit logging pipelines built in Go to collect, process, and enrich security audit events.
- Develop integrations between audit logs and SIEM tools like Splunk, Datadog, Chronicle, and Microsoft Sentinel to enhance security visibility.
- Lead improvements to audit log platform focusing on tamper-proof data, retention policies, real-time access, and reducing technical debt while collaborating across multiple security and platform teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–8 years of software engineering experience including logging, security telemetry, or data pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in Go and experience with gRPC; familiarity with Python or JavaScript/Node.js is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with streaming systems such as Kafka or Flink, and knowledge of distributed systems concepts like consistency and failure handling.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and scaling secure, high-throughput distributed data pipelines and audit logging systems with attention to compliance standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
- Able to lead technical initiatives reducing technical debt and improving logging standards across teams and services.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with IAM, threat detection, and platform teams, and mentoring junior engineers in a cloud native environment (Kubernetes, Terraform, SQL).
