Senior Software Engineer II - Audit & Logging

Define and lead multi-year technical strategy and architecture for audit logging, SIEM integrations, and security visibility at hyperscale event volumes.

Set and enforce logging schema standards, event taxonomy, and operational hygiene across audit and telemetry systems, coordinating with IAM, threat detection, and platform engineering.

Mentor senior engineers and serve as a key technical decision-maker influencing cross-organizational platform strategies and engineering standards.

8+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in audit logging, security telemetry, SIEM integration, or high-throughput data pipelines at cloud or enterprise scale.

Expert-level Go programming skills with strong experience designing gRPC-based services.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Location requirement: Bengaluru, India (hybrid working model).

Experienced architect comfortable designing distributed, multi-region streaming systems handling billions of events daily with guaranteed delivery and resilience.

Skilled at cross-domain integration, able to influence adjacent areas such as IAM, threat detection, and platform engineering for cohesive security telemetry solutions.

Able to translate complex technical strategies into business impact and communicate effectively across leadership and engineering teams.
