About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain Databricks-based data pipelines and analytics solutions using Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting and transforming data into Databricks Delta Lake for BI consumption.
- Develop Power BI reports and dashboards linked to Databricks SQL endpoints delivering actionable business insights.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of BI and data engineering experience with hands-on Databricks expertise in enterprise production environments.
- Strong skills in Databricks platform including PySpark, Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, Notebooks, Workflows, and Unity Catalog.
- Proficiency in Power BI development including DAX and integration with Databricks SQL endpoints.
- Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage in production setups.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in implementing scalable data platforms using Medallion Architecture with Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
- Skilled in dimensional modeling including star and snowflake schema design aligned to BI best practices.
- Capable of managing data governance within Databricks using Unity Catalog to ensure metadata management, data lineage, and access control.
