About This Role
- Define and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for software powering AWS's global physical infrastructure supply chain across demand planning, manufacturing, logistics, and deployment.
- Independently manage and develop a team of Software Development Engineers (SDEs) to deliver large-scale distributed systems with high operational excellence and minimal defects.
- Drive customer engagement, operational metrics, risk management, and effective stakeholder communication across supply chain systems including forecasting, capacity planning, fulfillment, and observability.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of engineering team management experience and a total of 7+ years engineering experience.
- 8+ years leading definition and development of multi-tier web services.
- Proven experience in full software development lifecycle practices, including coding standards, reviews, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams and designing or architecting scalable and reliable systems.

- Strong strategic decision-maker balancing multiple project priorities across demand forecasting, capacity planning, and fulfillment optimization.
