About This Role
- Own end-to-end API lifecycle delivery including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, publishing, and support of enterprise APIs.
- Design, develop, secure, and manage APIs across on-premises, SaaS, cloud, and hybrid ecosystems with strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and security.
- Lead API best practices, standardization, knowledge sharing, and promote engineering excellence and reusable scalable API architecture.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in API design, development, and enterprise integration delivery.
- Proven expertise with Google Apigee API Management including proxy development, shared flows, traffic management, and policy enforcement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong knowledge of API security concepts including OAuth 2.0, authentication, authorization, throttling, and rate limiting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical lead or platform engineer with 7–10 years in API development and integration roles.
- Deep technical expertise in RESTful APIs, API gateways, API lifecycle management, and API security best practices.
- Comfortable collaborating across architects, developers, infrastructure, and business teams to implement enterprise-grade API solutions aligned with architecture standards.
