About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel-mode drivers for high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB 3.x, and MIPI/CSI.
- Lead hardware bring-up and debug low-level issues using tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Customize Linux kernel modules focusing on memory management, interrupt handling, and profile driver performance for power efficiency and low latency.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Linux kernel-level development and device driver programming.
- Strong knowledge of Linux kernel internals including scheduler, MMU, DMA frameworks, and IPC mechanisms.
- Proficiency with hardware protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN), Git, and embedded Linux build systems like Yocto Project.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and kernel-space using debugging tools like GDB, KGDB, and Ftrace.
- Able to read and interpret hardware datasheets and schematics effectively.
- Focused on optimizing driver performance for power, memory, and latency within real-time systems.
