About This Role
- Own validation of production deployments to ensure they meet quality standards and behave as intended.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for new API integrations and ensure reliable execution of nightly integration, regression, and load tests.
- Act as quality champion for Data Streams by automating monitoring of operational metrics, detecting pipeline errors/failures, proactively identifying system deficiencies, and improving IoT integration testing mechanisms.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, Electrical, Controls Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer.
- Strong experience in test planning for cloud-native applications with automation skills using Python and Cypress.
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in multi-level testing: unit, system, integration, load/performance, and security testing, with strong test case design skills including functional, edge, and negative scenarios.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to support frequent production deployments.
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with IoT integrations, data-streaming technologies, and DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and microservices architecture.
