About This Role
- Own test strategy, planning, and execution for Nexus Futures trading ecosystem including order management, execution services, broker/exchange connectivity, and post-trade processing.
- Deliver comprehensive manual and automated test coverage across backend server-side systems, APIs, databases, and messaging to ensure platform reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess release risks, support defect root-cause analysis, manage release deployments, and improve QA processes with a focus on AI-assisted automation.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong professional experience testing complex trading, financial, transactional, or high-integrity backend systems.
- Hands-on experience with manual functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing in Agile environments, including API and backend service testing with SQL skills.
- Practical automation experience using C# or comparable language within test automation frameworks; experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience; 4 days per week in-office attendance required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in exchange-traded derivatives (especially US Futures) and electronic order/execution management systems.
- Familiar with FIX protocol, high-throughput/low-latency distributed systems, and operational resilience practices including disaster recovery and controlled production releases.
- Comfortable leveraging and evaluating AI-assisted QA technologies and tools like Postman, Swagger, Kafka, Kubernetes and related CI/CD and test infrastructure.
