About This Role
- Lead and manage international government and commercial proposals for Shield AI’s India business end-to-end, from pre-RFP planning through submission and closeout.
- Drive cross-functional proposal teams to deliver compliant, high-quality bids on schedule while continuously improving related processes and tools.
- Support GTM activities including briefing, presentations, customer meetings, and demos, alongside mentoring proposal contributors.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-4+ years of Indian Ministry of Defence or international government proposal development or BD operations experience; alternatively 3+ years working with Government of India or international government requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, marketing, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with proposal methodologies (e.g. Shipley), compliance matrices, and project management tools.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing ability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing proposals in government or defense sectors, preferably with knowledge of Indian defense acquisition.
- Capable leader and communicator able to align stakeholders and work across organizational levels and cross-functional teams.
- Technically proficient, ideally with background in unmanned systems/autonomy software, and understanding of military operations and defense industry geopolitical context.
