About This Role
- Own and define technical direction for the EDGE platform focusing on CDN, WAF, DDoS protection, bot management, DNS, and traffic management ensuring security, scalability, and alignment with business priorities.
- Lead platform design and evolution using Akamai and Kasada, implement reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns with Terraform to enable self-service and governance.
- Drive operational excellence via incident leadership, monitoring, runbooks, and own measurable outcomes in platform security, reliability, performance, and adoption.
Minimum Requirements
- 10-13 years of experience with strong hands-on delivery and leadership in cloud platform, SRE, network, and edge engineering roles.
- Deep expertise in CDN and edge technologies, including Akamai for CDN, WAF, and DDoS protection; strong knowledge of bot management platforms like Kasada.
- Advanced proficiency in Terraform (infrastructure as code) and strong programming skills in Python and/or Go for automation and tooling.
- Work Experience Required: 9+ years specifically in relevant domains (cloud platform, SRE, network, edge) as per detailed description.
