About This Role
- Own operational health, compliance, and lifecycle management of global infrastructure device fleets, ensuring accurate inventory and governance adherence.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues across hardware, software, networking, and cloud platforms while automating fleet operations to scale and improve efficiency.
- Create and improve SOPs, runbooks, and documentation to enable consistent operations worldwide, and lead initiatives that drive measurable improvements in fleet performance and compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration.
- 5+ years of Linux experience and 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience.
- Experience in scripting or programming using Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proficient in multiple technology areas including operating systems, networking, compute hardware, cloud platforms (notably AWS services), and monitoring tools.
- Experienced in building automation for operational scalability and driving operational excellence programs with measurable outcomes.
- Capable of working autonomously across domain boundaries with a strong operational and fleet management perspective, including mentoring and collaborating in design and prioritization discussions.
