About This Role
- Own and lead delivery of Databricks-based data engineering projects, including designing and managing data pipelines using medallion architecture and Lakehouse concepts.
- Manage and oversee large volume data processing, applying expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) approaches.
- Lead client engagements, estimate project work, and manage teams or pods to ensure successful project execution.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Databricks technologies.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and Spark programming.
- Experience working with capital markets or investment management clients.
- Candidate must reside within daily commuting distance of Bangalore and be willing to work full time from office (SODC requirement).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading complex client projects and managing multiple teams or pods in a data engineering environment.
- Strong domain knowledge in capital markets or investment management, with hands-on experience in Databricks and related data processing frameworks.
- Demonstrates ability to estimate workload accurately and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
