About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain network automation workflows using Python and Ansible to automate network operational tasks, configuration management, and compliance validation.
- Support automation initiatives for network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, voice platforms, and proxy platforms, assisting in software upgrades and configuration deployments.
- Collaborate with Network, Voice, Security, and Operations teams to gather automation requirements, participate in Agile development practices, and document automation workflows and technical designs.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years software engineering experience or equivalent through work, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience in network automation, infrastructure automation, network engineering, DevOps engineering, or software development supporting infrastructure teams.
- Proficiency with Python for automation, Ansible for configuration management, RESTful API integrations, Git version control, JSON/YAML/XML, and Linux fundamentals.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline (desired).
